Developments in the farming industry lead to business expansion into sales of agricultural machinery, supply of parts and servicing. Whilst the agricultural machinery dealership moved to separate premises on the outskirts of Ely, the blacksmiths and ironmongers remained in the centre growing to incorporate a hardware and DIY store. In 1998, the city centre shop in Market Street was closed and moved to Lisle Lane alongside the Ely agricultural machinery depot.
Following rapid expansion since 1999, today Pecks has six agricultural machinery dealerships across Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and Norfolk (please see our main website www.peck.co.uk here). We have lawn and groundcare divisions in Ely and Spalding. Our state of the art, purpose built premises open in Lancaster Way, Ely during 2016 incorporates a vibrant, modern country store selling a range of high quality products from leading brands. To this day Pecks remains a family run business committed to maintaining the highest standards of customer service, provision of high quality employment opportunities and investment into the local communities in which we operate.
